HopeWorks is an interfaith organization that strengthens community through counseling, education and outreach services for young people and their families, for schools, and for community organizations.

Our purpose is to help young people and families find within themselves sources of purpose, hope and strength to meet life's challenges and opportunities.  For 38 years, HopeWorks has served the West Hartford community in our schools, in our offices and in local faith communities.

Chinese proverb:

If you want happiness for an hour - take a nap.
If you want happiness for a day - go fishing.
If you want happiness for a lifetime - help someone else.

AIM will help students become better prepared to discuss majors and/or college/vocational choices. Over our 8 – 10 week pilot program, AIM’s small group sessions will be tailored to the uniqueness of each client.  Participants will have opportunities for internships or job shadowing.

Student sessions can be arranged at school during free periods, or after school in our offices.
