Local Faith Communities
"Hope Works was established in 1973 as the Street Ministry of West Hartford, by several local faith communities as the collective response to a crisis of meaning and spirit for many young people.
We strongly value our interfaith roots. Many local communities of faith support our work financially and by participating in our annual Mum Sale. We engage with many congregations through their interaction with their youth groups, speaking to adult groups and support of clergy."

TV Programs
Monthly Television Show
HopeWorks produces a monthly television show for West Hartford Community Television. We usually produce shows in a series related to a common theme. In 2007, we produced five shows on the topic of "Taming the College Frenzy" and five shows on "Alternatives to Violence". This year we are looking at how young people can find their niche in a series titled "Creating Communities within our Community".
